Best Air Fryers in Malaysia for 10.10 (2026): 9 Picks from Budget to Premium

Air fryer with crispy fries beside the text "Best Air Fryers in Malaysia, 9 picks for 10.10 2026, budget to premium

Shopping for the best air fryers in Malaysia this 10.10? Air fryers get the biggest discounts of any kitchen category in Malaysia. That is also why they are the easiest one to overpay on.

There are about two hundred listings. Many of them are the same factory unit sold under different brand names. And the 70% OFF badge means very little.

This is the shortlist we would actually buy from on 10 October 2026.

How we make money: Some links on this page go to Shopee. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. We never take payment to rank a product higher. If something is cheaper somewhere else, we say so, even when we earn nothing from it.

Pick your size first, brand second

This is the one decision that decides whether you still like your air fryer in six months.

HouseholdCapacityNotes
1 to 2 people3.5L to 4.5LFits on a small counter. Fine for reheating, fries, two chicken thighs.
3 to 4 people5L to 6LThe sweet spot for most Malaysian homes. Buy here if you are not sure.
5 or more people6L and above, or dual basketWhole chicken territory from 6L up. Needs real counter space.
Cooking two dishes at onceDual basketTwo separate drawers. Worth it if you batch cook.

The most common regret is buying too small. A small air fryer looks generous in the product photo. In real life it holds about four chicken wings.

The specs that matter

Temperature range. Anything that stops below 200°C will struggle to crisp food. Look for 200°C or higher.

Basket material, and whether it comes out. A removable basket you can put in the dishwasher is the difference between using it every week and using it twice.

Dial or digital. Dials are cheaper and last longer. Digital panels give you presets and a timer you can actually read. Neither one is wrong.

Shake reminder. Sounds like a gimmick. It is not.

The specs that do not matter much

  • The “12-in-1” preset count. They are all just time and temperature settings you can set yourself.
  • Wattage on its own. A 1500W 5L unit and a 1800W 8L unit are doing about the same work per litre.
  • App connectivity. On a machine that sits two metres from where you are standing.

Budget: under RM250

Russell Taylors 3D Visible Window (Z3), 4.5L

The looker of the budget group. The window lets you watch your food cook without opening the basket, and the simple dials mean anyone can use it. Best for two to three people.

Simplus Oven Air Fryer (KQZG007), 4.5L

The value pick that sells in high volume. The specs read well for the price. Buy from a seller with a long review history. This is the tier where listing quality varies the most.

Gaabor Air Fryer (AF-35M01A), 3.5L

The cheapest pick on this list. One simple knob, eight preset menus, and it stops heating the moment you pull the basket out. Small and light, so it suits a tiny kitchen. Best for one or two people.

Mid-range: RM250 to RM550

Xiaomi Essential Air Fryer (MAF13), 6L

Big basket, no fuss. Two simple dials for time and temperature, and room for a whole chicken. A safe default for a family that wants space without paying for extras.

Tefal Easy Fry Far Infrared Vision Air Fryer (EY8218), 6L

Cooks faster and crispier than a regular air fryer, thanks to Tefal’s far infrared heating. The lit-up window and 12 one-touch programmes make it easy to get right.

Philips Air Fryer 2000 Series (NA231/09), 6.2L

The Philips for families. A cooking window lets you watch without opening the basket, and 13 one-touch settings cover everything from frying to reheating. Fits eight drumsticks in one go.

Premium: RM550 and above

Xiaomi Dual Zone Air Fryer, 10L

Two baskets that cook two dishes at once and finish together: a 3.5L side for sides, a 6.5L side big enough for a whole chicken. It takes up counter space, so measure first. Best for big families and weekend gatherings.

Tefal Easy Fry Steam & Grill (FW2018), 6.5L

Three machines in one: air fry, grill and steam. The steam mode is a real bonus for Malaysian home cooking, from steamed fish to vegetables. Seven auto programmes and no preheating. Best for families who want more than fried food.

Ninja Double Stack XL, 9.5L

Two separate baskets stacked on top of each other, so it takes up less counter space than a side-by-side dual. The most capable unit here, and priced like it.

Three buying mistakes to avoid at 10.10

  1. Buying because of the discount percentage. A 65% off badge on an inflated “was” price is not a deal. Screenshot the price a week before the sale.
  2. Ignoring what comes in the box. Some models come with racks and skewers. Some come with a basket and nothing else. The bundle is often where the real value is.
  3. Skipping the Official Store to save RM15. At this price, a real warranty is worth more than fifteen ringgit.

FAQ

Which air fryer is best for a Malaysian family of four?

A 6L model. The Xiaomi Essential 6L is the one to start with if you want simple and affordable. If you have a bit more to spend, the Tefal Far Infrared Vision and Philips 2000 Series both add a cooking window.

Is an air fryer cheaper to run than an oven?

For small portions, yes. It heats a much smaller space and does not need preheating. For a full tray of food, an oven is more efficient.

Do I need a dual basket model?

Only if you often cook two things at different temperatures, or cook for big gatherings. The Xiaomi Dual Zone and Ninja Double Stack both do this well. Otherwise it is counter space you will not get back.

Air fryer or convection microwave?

Air fryer for crisping. Convection microwave for reheating and general use. If your microwave already convects well, an air fryer is nice to have rather than a must.

Can an air fryer steam food?

Most cannot. If you want steamed fish or vegetables as well as fried food, the Tefal Easy Fry Grill & Steam does all three in one machine.

What does SIRIM-ST certified mean?

It is the Malaysian safety mark for electrical appliances. Look for the SIRIM-ST label in the seller’s photos before buying, especially from non-official stores.
